A civic room for everyday public life
Kijani Civic Pavilion was designed after conversations with vendors, residents, and local organizers. The brief was simple but important: create a shaded public place that could host markets in the morning, meetings in the afternoon, and events at night.
The design combines a lightweight roof, open edges, and landscape pockets to keep the pavilion welcoming and flexible. It has become a practical piece of civic infrastructure rather than a one-purpose building.
